She danced the music for years before she ever played it
JUKA is Joana Ferreira, a DJ from Portugal shaped by a life in motion. Trained as a dancer and performer at Balleteatro and ESMAE in Porto, and later through a Master's in Barcelona, she came to the booth already fluent in what makes a body move.
That instinct drives every set — reading the room like choreography and blending Dancehall, Afrobeats, Hip Hop, R&B and Amapiano into one continuous groove. The floor doesn't just listen. It answers.
